Leeith's eyes had widened slightly when Ayalan's arm detached, but recovered quickly, tossing aside the false arm and going back to her neutral defensive position. The other warrior seemed to be in the process of disabling the remaining arm, and she held back to see how it would play out.

Ayalan smirked at the overall reaction about his arm; maybe the thing being fake wasn't so bad afterall.
However, because his interest was so piqued, he felt a slash across his arm as he winced, reeling back around, going to one knee as he laughed to himself, shaking his head a bit.
He stood back up, and stood in a new martial position, with one foot ahead, and his injured arm and leg away from his exposed front. "It's hard to make me give in, but you guys are getting pretty close." He grinned, and his eyes shone.

The swordsman looked around; this whole situation just seemed incredibly unusual. It was incredibly cold out - he could feel the icy wind cut at him through his inadequate red robes - and yet at the same time, he could feel sweat as well. He held his Killing Edge with a firm grip and glanced from Leeith to Ayalan. "...Strange." - [Sorrowful Prince Pelleas]The swordsman locked his gaze on Ayalan. "...Battle is a matter of life and death... and you treat it so casually." The cold wind picked up again; the swordsman's skin had been numb from the chill for a while now, though. He remained in a defensive stance and looked at the other two warriors with a glower.

Ayalan's body..slowly went back to a pained position as he kneeled back down, biting his lip at Rutger's revelation.
".....Battle doesn't always have a winner, or a decisive loser..Sometimes..you can win a battle, and still lose everything else you ever had in life." Ayalan's eyes flashed a bit, and he held his head in a bit of a headache.
"If you continue to treat it as just winning and losing...life and death...you'll end up like I did." He said softly, returning to his previous position, his arm and leg bleeding slowly, the trail of red matching his movements.
"..Alone and Dead inside, while still alive no matter what battle comes at you..Is it worth it?" He smirked softly, cracking his own neck, whilst shaking it no, and ushering him over; the man was damaged, and he was down, but that didn't stop him from finishing what he started at the least..

Leeith was confused for a moment, then went still. This man... Has been through much. and come to realize that constant battle ruins one. And through this he... Has seniority. After a few more seconds of thought Leeith reaspectively put her weapons down. "I will not fight one who has gained my respect needlessly. For this fight..." This part was still hard for her to force through her teeth. "I submit."

The swordsman stood and stared at the two of them for a while, still gripping his Killing Edge tightly. "..." It was a strange situation; the injured Ayalan was pontificating about his philosophies of combat, and Leeith had submitted to the wounded warrior. This turn of events seemed quite unusual to the swordsman, and he remained wary; still, he could not help but respond to what Ayalan had said. "I have heard it said... that all paths of the sword lead to one place." The swordsman looked down at his Killing Edge. The path of the sword... that was the path that he followed. The wind swirled around the swordsman, surrounding him in a bitter coldness. Shaking his head, the he snapped back into focus and looked at Leeith and Ayalan. "...Who are you?" From what the swordsman could gather, the two were no ordinary warriors; their battle so far had been an intense one, and he felt stronger for having endured it up until this point. Fighting opponents like these could push his abilities to the next level.

Ayalan made a nod to Leeith, smiling as he went back down to one knee, out of both respect and pain.
"I accept your terms, m'dear, for I feel you are a great warrior indeed...I bow to your skills...and to yours too, swordsman." He said softly, as he looked up softly at her, then him, sighing, and shaking his head; the cold finally started to catch up to him, as he shook off a freeze.
"...It's nothing different you know. For the mage, the swordsman, the ninja or the samurai. Death is the end of us all. We just make the best of life until then." Aya smiled at Rutger, looking at both of his opponents, and speaking up.
"Ayalan will do just fine, for starters." That was his simple introduction, as he closed his eyes. "I'm..."..He thought of the best way to say it..."I am a soul searching for his body, and a body searching for his soul in opposite directions." He folded his arms, "A mercenary, in shorter terms." He grinned, and sat back in the snow, his leg giving out a bit.
"Hah...and what's your names?" He offered his hand out, hearing the two out, his hostility was gone.

Leeith eyes his hand warily. She respected him, not trusted him. "I am called Leeith." She did not offer to elaborate on that.

The swordsman observed his surroundings cautiously. While Leeith and Ayalan were clearly worthy opponents and seemed genuine enough, he was still wary. "..." The wind picked up again; it was very cold now. The swordsman surveyed the surroundings and saw that weather conditions were worsening around them. If he continued to exert himself in this manner, the swordsman realized that he might not be able to make it to shelter. From what he could see, the other two warriors were very much in the same position. Mother Nature was turning into a common enemy. - "...We cannot remain here. The elements grow harsher... we must seek refuge." The swordsman lowered his Killing Edge and looked over at Ayalan and Leeith. "...I don't know your motivations. However, it's in our best interest to leave... and our odds are best if we move cooperatively as a group."

Ayalan smirked to himself as Leeith grew wary, and saw that Rutger was the same way, albeit, ready to keep travelling.
"Well it's nice to meet you Leeith" He started off, as he stood up, and grabbed his arm off the floor, his wounds had frozen over a bit, so the bleeding was reduced. He clicked the arm in place, and picked up his weapons, placing the belt over his shoulder.
"However, for you, swordsman..I agree with your plan, but a name would be desirable for our journey." Aya wasn't cold perse, but any longer out here, and he would start to shiver a bit. He was improperly dressed for this occasion for sure, standing between the two fighters as if nothing had happened between them. "Ready when you are."

Leeith nodded in agreement- she'd been trained to withstand harsh conditions, but she prefered not to as it did not leave her in the best condition, or as ready to fight as she liked. She didn't want the first to suggest, but... "I believe there is a pub in Pessumdare."

Ayalan looked over with a slight grin.
"I guess I've learned something new about you already, Leeith." He said softly, as he bundled up and shook off the cold for a bit.
"I suppose if it's close, we'll have to deal with it." He started to trudge along, knowing the direction toward said town, looking back.
"Coming?" He smiled lightly, as he laughed to himself.

Leeith ignored his joke, her eyes revealing nothing. She walked as well, about 5 feet away from him.

The swordsman walked briskly, keeping pace with the other warriors. He kept his arms close to his body, trying to trap as much heat as he could within the confines of his crimson robes. "..." While the swordsman didn't trust Leeith and Ayalan, he did find them to be worthy opponents. Being united against the elements, they were now, in a sense, allies... still, the swordsman didn't want to let his guard down just yet. He shrugged off their questions for the time being. "...Let us get to the pub first." If he could make it across the cold terrain in one piece... if he could make it to shelter, the swordsman could start piecing things together and really figure out who these two were. Then he could decide whether or not it was a good idea to answer their inquiries. For now, though, he had to remain focused.

Ayalan folded his arms with a grin on his face, his chakram belt still around his arm to keep it warm rather than his waist. "I suppose talking in the pub would do, now wouldn't it?" -IndignationAyalan's body was shivering a bit, as he rubbed his fake arm, just out of habit and then twisted it around a bit to get it from freezing over. "..You really nicked me with that sword, ya know." Ayalan said softly, as he smirked, looking over. "What's the story behind it? Surely my blood's not the only one on it." He decided to start his questions with Rutger, because Leeith seemed a bit focused on...ignoring Aya. "..Unless you'd like Leeith to start first." He grinned over, walking backwards to watch his former opponents.
