Leeith was almost amused by his offer, and it certainly presented a very interesting opportunity. But it had been year since she had been in the company of others for more than a few hours at most... Would I be willing to form an alliance, however makeshift it may be, with these warriors? To commit myself to company for an undefined amount of time... No, I am an assassain, my work is done best alone. And yet... His proposal intrigues me. Perhaps I willl linger for the present...
To the others she simply replied, "I already informed you that I am called Leeith. Perhaps your hearing simply is not all it should be."

Aya watched the smirking Leeith as he held his arms across each other, smirking and bowing his head.
"My hearing would be pretty bad at times. I mean, after all you've said, how could I remember?" Now Aya was poking a bit of fun, but it was all in good taste, putting his hand on the table, grabbing his glass of water, and taking a sip.

The swordsman listened to everything Ayalan and Leeith said. He looked down at the weapon that Ayalan had set before him, then looked back at Ayalan himself. "..." Ayalan was a hard man to read. First he attacked the swordsman, then accompanied him back to this lodge, and now he was offering him a deal. It was all very unusual. However, the swordsman could see that Ayalan possessed a rare kind of strength. Mulling over the situation, he reiterated what he had said earlier. "...You are a strange man." The swordsman leaned forward. He had made his decision; the path ahead was perilous, but this was the road he'd have to walk if he wanted to achieve true strength. - [With Us!]"However... I see that you are strong. And... perhaps traveling with you will make me stronger as well. In which case... I shall lend my sword to your cause." The swordsman looked at Ayalan with conviction and rested his arms on the table. They each had their own goals... and perhaps by working together, they could both find the means to their own ends.

"And I will lend my blades as well," said Leeith. Something- destiny, perhaps, though she would never freely say so- made her feel inclined to join these men. Whether things changed or remained the same made little difference to her- she would always be on the outskirts of society, hidden in the shadows- but for the time being she would devote herself to a cause.
"What plans do you have for bringing about the change you preach?"

Ayalan nodded, and placed his dagger in his sheath, smiling at the other two: He realized they were like him in their own respective ways, speaking up softly, "I'm glad to hear you're both willing. And I appreciate your comments; however..."
He then looked at the two across from him, and nodded softly..
"There's this place...." Suddenly, he pulled out a map of the entire region, and pointed to one specific point on it, highlighting the name for the two across from him, keeping a finger to his own lips, in order to signify staying quiet."
He then motioned his hand to a stated theory of his, saying a possible plan: This plan was intricate in some ways, but then he leaned back in his chair, watching to let the others make sense of it.
"..I show you only because now, as a pact, I trust you." He admitted softly, showing he was willing to gain their trust no matter what.

Leeith nodded silently, acknowledging her approval of his plan, and showing no reaction to his 'trust'. In her opinion, it wasn't something to be given so easily, or even earned before the test of time wore away all pretense. Regardless, he had her support, at least for the time being.

The swordsman glanced over at Leeith. She said she would be traveling with Ayalan as well... the swordsman regarded her with a cautious intrigue. She was distant, yes, but she had power as well, and perhaps her presence could be of some benefit to him. "..." After a slight pause, the swordsman leaned to one side and looked over at Ayalan's map. The warrior was speaking of trust... whatever was coming next, it was probably of great importance. The swordsman picked up on Ayalan's 'quiet' gesture and kept his voice lowered. - [Distant Travels]"...What's the plan?" He was curious now. The swordsman glanced back up at Ayalan and waited to hear what he had to say.

Aya unraveled it further, showing the lines along its seemingly long thought out, and weathered, edges. He pointed at the lines, saying nothing, letting his finger do the work: He first pointed at the Steel Fortress, a well known area for prisoners, as he spoke up: "They need freedom. Liberation is key." Aya pointed along the trail, showing one x, and pointing at Rutger: This was the most direct one, with the most confrontations. He then pointed at the Second x, and pointed at himself: This was the one that required a bit of messing around with security and overall knowledge of the building, and other stealthy ways to get through these areas. Finally, he pointed at the third x, and pointed at Leeith: This would require someone silent, and someone who could get past elite guards to trigger the opening of the prisoner's gates. -In order, Rutger would clear the path for the prisoners, Aya would cause a distraction toward the East wing of the tower, so that Leeith could open the gates for the prisoners to escape. He then pointed to the two arrows, one red, and one blue, as he spoke again: "I've friends in high and low places." He was, speaking about his friends Caramel and Tav: as he drew little circles, and spoke again, "Boats." They showed the path of now prisoner loaded boats surrounding the area of Chalybs, and the prisoners, led by the three sitting at this table, would take over the town with quick liberation, discarding any old uses of the old ways, and then spoke up, "Give the people a chance, and they'll join us." Aya then sat back, and pointed at the orbiting ships, motioning that Caramel and Tav would continue to circle the island, protecting it from any attacks from the other islands. "In theory...a plan that can be executed in less than 6 hours." Aya then folded his arms, and looked at Leeith, and Rutger. "...So?"

The swordsman stared at the map for a moment, taking in Ayalan's plan. Being no stranger to warfare, he understood the scope of what was being undertaken and paused to give it proper consideration. "..." There were quite a few facets to this plan, but it appeared that the swordsman would be engaging with the bulk of the enemy forces early on. Ayalan could be using him as a distraction... however, at the same time, the swordsman realized that a battle like this one could take his skills to the next level. This kind of pressure would bring out his true potential... his true strength. - [The Path To Greatness]"...I have no complaints. I shall do my part." The conflict ahead would be difficult, but the battle experience would surely make the swordsman more powerful. However, he was not about to rush in unprepared. Lowering his voice, he posed some questions to Ayalan. "...What kind of enemies will I be facing... and how many?" The answers were critical; the swordsman needed to know exactly what he was up against if he wanted to be ready for the fight. Being well-informed could be the difference between life and death on the battlefield.

With Leeith's usual silence, Aya smiled at the look on his new allies' faces. He felt that this could work out afterall, as he put his hand to his own chin.
"They'll be your usual forces. Some will be mercenaries for hire guarding the outside, some will be your typical guard, and others..well there could be some inmates who are a bit crazy. However, for your sake, our targets are all using blunt weapons, and probably only the elite guards have swords and the like."
Aya put his hand on the table.."Why I warn against the top floor, where Leeith will be infiltrating, is because I know that's where the fully armored men are. The ones with the kind of armor is nearly impenetrable unless we had cannons." He put his hand to his own head, remembering a bad time with them.
"So. If we have no further concerns..I think we have a few things to do. This plan will be committed to..."
".....Sailing time." He smirked, as he stood up, meaning he was ready to go right now, with his friends offshore, waiting for a signal again.

Leeith inclined her head, somewhat impressed. "Very well, then. I am prepared to embark on the journey if you are." She stood as well, one hand on the hilt of a scimitar, where it had automatically moved when he'd mentioned his 'friends in ahigh and low places'.

The swordsman rose along with the others, nodding in agreement. "Very well, then... let us be off." With that, the three of them headed out to begin the next part of their quest.
