Falcon's Shadow *Plot thread 3.1*

[Ra]

Ra, with the rest of the group, was standing near the eastern edge of Quemadura, scouting out one the Mana well markings. He looked at the map, then he pointed to an area "Alright, after this, we will prepare to head to the next destination." Ra said as he took off his backpack, but then something captured his eyes. He sees a dust cloud with some riders coming right at them, one of them was a blue armored man, and the other one was a giant on the horses. He took his hand out of his backpack, not revealing the mana well.
"Hmm, they might be passing, but if they are not, get them away." Ra said to Ma'at, Bast, and Monthu, "And fast. Time is a factor."

[Monthu]

"On it, boss." Monthu said with a nod as he jogged away from the group and found a nice, small rise from which he could see the riders clearly. One was atop a white steed and wore pale blue steel armour, with a helmet shaped like a snarling wolf. He had a spear in hand and held it behind his back, he seemed to be leading the group. The second rider was atop a hulking red horse, it's fluttering tail appeared like flame and black armour adorned it's head and legs, it's rider was equally as fearsome. A hulking giant of a man in black armour, with a huge halberd in his hand that looked like it could cut through the most solid of steel, it seemed that a woman was sat in front of him on the large warhorse.

Certain they were heading straight for the rest of the group, he nocked an arrow and took aim, releasing, the arrow flew through the sky with as much grace as a falcon in flight, before eventually plummeting down towards the ground, and landing right in front of the riders, aiming to catch them off guard.

[Ma'at]

As Monthu did that, Ma'at had been moving along the ridgeline, moving behind the riders- she knew if this turned into a confrontation, she would need to attack the horses before the men. Cavalry was always more adept to fighting from horses, and her weapon was best from fighting them mounted or unmounted.

She nodded to him from afar, knowing his keen eye would see her, ready to move on anyone's mark.

[Alessia]

As the arrow slammed into the ground beside them, causing the horse Alessia was on to jerk back. Considering the fact that she wasn't holding onto the horse very tightly she was tossed right off of it, rolling onto the dirt path, caking herself with it before she came to a stop some distance away from the two.

She didn't move for a second, perhaps it was a brief moment of shock before she finally pulled herself up from the ground. At first she was confused at why the horse acted so strange but once she noticed the arrow on the ground besides her she quickly caught onto the fact they were under attack.

Alessia's eyes lit up with an intense light in them as she scanned the surrounding area for the attacker, prepared to deflect any other arrow that would be sent towards the group. "Riliath, Gensayce be careful!" She warned the two as she prepared for the attacker's next move.

[Bast]

Bast had been practicing.

Curious and intrigued by the extensions of her own natural talent, she'd explored those possibilities. Now, it was an easy thing for her to slip out of the range of normal sight, ready for whatever was to happen next.

[Gensayce Zidjiai]

Dilu reared upwards when the arrow cracked into the ground with a thud, and Gensayce quickly pulled onto the reigns and made sure that he was not kicked off of his steed. Holding his spear in hand he pointed it forth, managing to spot the enemy archer, wasn't an archer one of the people that had attacked Yeligar and Andy?

"You there!" he called, pointing his spear towards the man before him. "You are one from the group that has traveled to Allorum from Earth, are you not?!" He looked behind him and nodded at Riliath, a silent gesture that told him to help Alessia.

[Ra]

"We are not." Ra said, as he looked at them, "We are just travelers of this kingdom, and we thought you were bandits attacking us once more.I apologize for the confusion for if you were bandits, this is the third attack from your kind today." He walked near Ma'at, Monthu, and Bast, standing there with his arms out.

[Riliath Infernus]

Riliath dismounted from Kasai and approached Alessia, reaching down, he offered her a hand to pull her up, whilst he looked over his shoulder and called towards Gensayce. "This is the spot where we were told that those humans would gather." He motioned towards Monthu with his halberd as well "And I've never seen a bow like that at all on Allorum, same goes for their dress sense, I've never seen gear like that which they are wearing..."

[Monthu]

"What?!" Monthu called out to the man in the wolf helm and the giant in the black armor, if he was being honest, they both terrified him. They had an air about them, they had been fighting alongside one another for a long, long time. "The reason you've never seen a bow like this before..." He started, holding up the bow. "Is because there is no other bow like this! I made it from only the best parts from all over the world! There never has or will be a bow like it." He hoped that his bluff worked, if he could help persuade them that they were from this 'Allorum' it'd make the rest of this whole mission a lot easier. Now he just had to explain the gear.

"And this?" He asked, motioning to his combat gear "It's light-weight, breathable, rare, expensive... The usual." He shrugged. "It helps me keep my friends safe from bandits whilst we're on the road, it's hard to draw and nock an arrow whilst you have all this clunky armor in your way."

[Ma'at]

Ma'at stayed in the shadows, moving forward with her spear, toward Alessia; without a clear weapon in sight, she could blindside the two riders and force them down with enough tactical advantage.

...At least that's what cliche movie plots told her, and based on these people's weaponry- they didn't know what a movie was, so she moved ever so slowly, letting the others try to talk them down, but Ma'at knew she was the contingency, her spear slowly making its move.

[Ra]

"To be fair, we have never seen gears like yours." Ra said, "We just left our native kingdom, and now we are criticize by brutes, charging at us. Why don't you just leave us alone... or do you really plan to attack us? We might be a small group, but like I said you aren't the first bandits to attack us." His hands were at the side, and his stance was like a gunslinger, any moment ready to defend himself.

[Alessia]

Alessia wasn't buying any of this. Everything about them was unusual, from the way they spoke, dressed and acted. She'd seen similar mannerisms before, from Grey and Andy... both from Earth.

The area around the group started to heat up, for Alessia was raising the temperatures around them, which caused leafs on a tree by Monthu to start popping from the heat, as if the leafs were on fire. "Cut the act already, we know who you are." She warned, making it apparent that the rise in temperatures was about to get much worse.

[Ra]

Ra looked over at Monthu, then back over at Alessia, "Well... if you truly knew who we are, then you should know to not to cross us." He said boldly, quickly pulling out his sword. He held it out, and produced a large blade with a downward curve tip. He held it in a ready position, and looked at them, "This is my final warning. Leave us alone!"

[Gensayce Zidjiai]

Gensayce set his spear and moved his horse in front of Alessia and Riliath, blocking them from this group, if this came to a battle, it was important that they used the advantage of having horses, as such he needed to make sure that Riliath was mounted up before this came down to a battle. Turning his head to his ally he nodded at him, it was time that they signaled the others from the station, considering that Kasai was much faster than Dilu, it made sense for him to make the move.

"Lady Alessia." Gensayce said holding his spear before him. "We must hold off the enemy until reinforcements arrive."

[Riliath Infernus]

Riliath nodded, with his halberd in one hand, he grabbed onto Kasai's reigns and hoisted himself up onto the warhorse, before pulling him up with a whinny and spinning him around. The horse snorted before setting off at a gallop away from the group and towards the high ground, it had been agreed prior that to signal reinforcements, Riliath would release a large fire ball from the high ground that would hopefully be spotted by those on the station.

Reaching higher ground, Riliath gathered all of the energy that he could, and placing his spear across his knees, he thrust both of his palms upwards into the air with a huge roar, and suddenly, all of the nearby oxygen was sucked upwards as the sparks of fire came to life and hungrily gathered up as much energy as they could, before launching upwards in a huge roaring fire ball that soared upwards to the sky and hovered in place like a mini sun, it would last a few minutes before petering away into nothingness.

Nodding at his handiwork, he turned Kasai back, grabbed his halberd and set off.
