Falcon's Shadow *Plot thread 3.1*

[Ra]

Ra looked over at Riliath, and saw the mini sun. What is he doing over there? Ra thought, then looked at Gensayce. He held the sword over his head, then swung down, sending about a dozen basketball size orbs flying fast towards Gensayce and Alessia.

[Alessia]

Stalling was over, Alessia quickly moved to the side as one of the orbs slammed into the ground next to her. She turned back to Ra quickly, planted her feet firmly in the ground while she raised his hands and as if the area between her two hands were a target reticule she suddenly released a powerful, condensed shot of solar energy at Ra.

The light flowed from her hands for about three seconds, releasing enough energy to blow Ra into small, charred pieces if it hit directly.

[Ra]

Ra quickly dodged the blast from Alessia, he was used to avoiding projectiles, but not of this nature. Ra ran up towards Alessia, swinging more mana bombs at her and Gensayce. When he got close enough, he swung down at Alessia.

[Bast]

At this time, Bast decided it would probably be best to take out the most dangerous combatant, or at least remove her from the equation.

She slipped away from the group, coming and circing up around behind Alessia. The razor edge of an invisible knife drew a thin line of blood across the girl's neck as Bast twisted her arm up behind her.

"Now, now," she whispered into Alessia's ear, "if you don't do anything stupid, you might just live to see tomorrow, hmm?"

Ra, she thought, really needs to work on his definition of 'diplomacy'.

[Gensayce Zidjiai]

Gensayce was suddenly in front of Alessia with his spear raised, blocking off Ra's strike. Swinging his spear to the side he parried the blow away, before pointing his weapon across at the leader of this group. "I am..." He swung the spear over his head, before slamming it into the ground. "Gensayce Zidjiai! The Ice Wolf of Ghiaccio! Kishu General!" Raising his weapon he held it behind his back at the ready.

"I suggest that you surrender."

[Bast]

((Bast is invisible right now and her threat was quiet enough no one should be able to hear it but Alessia.))

[Riliath Infernus]

Riliath charged forth and brought himself alongside Gensayce, grabbing the reigns of Dilu as he went, he threw them across to his partner, allowing him to mount up onto his horse as they both turned to face Ra. "Hmph." Riliath grunted "Is this all they sent?!"

[Monthu]

Monthu's sharp eyes picked up the thin trail of blood coming from the enemy woman's neck and assumed that it was Bast, considering the powers she'd recently started to develop, but if she wasn't careful, she'd end up getting one of those dangerous looking spears thrust at her. Time he played the distraction card in his eyes. Pulling out two ordinary arrows, he nocked them and took aim at the larger of the two men, it seems that he had a rather fiery temper, much like his stallion, and it would help if he could capitalize on that.

"Hey!" He called "You! You big lug!" He closed one eye as he took aim. "They should have sent more idiots like you if they hoped to bring us down!" He released the arrows, both flying towards Riliath with haste.

[Ra]

"Do you think just because you have multiple titles, I should just coward away?" Ra asked them, "You are just 3 people. You think you have a chance to stop us, you are mistaken." He switched stances, and then his sword change length, making it into a longer blade.

[Gensayce Zidjiai]

"No." Gensayce replied with a shake of his head. "If you wish a reason to cower away, then let my spear grant you one!" He charged forwards, swinging his spear through the air as he went. "Eis Bolzen!" he growled as he attacked, suddenly, the moisture in the air around the head of his spear suddenly froze solid, before shooting forwards towards Ra.

[Alessia]

Alessia was recharging from her last blast when she felt something cold and sharp run across her neck, followed by a thin line of warm blood and a stinging pain she quickly reacted to this threat. Without any noticeable signs, her body quickly started to rise in temperature, going to levels no human body could take.

"I don't know who you are..." She said trying to remain as cool and collected as possible (there was some clear signs of fear in her voice, however.) "But your weapon will not work on me."

At this point Bast was probably feeling the quick rise in temperature, coming to a point where it felt like you just dipped yourself in a pot of boiling water. Her blade felt it, too, for it began to melt as the heat around her quickly climbed.

[Riliath Infernus]

Riliath swung his halberd across and sliced the arrows clean in two, splintering and snapping the shafts. He growled as he pointed his weapon at the archer before him. "Listen to the words reeling off your tongue carefully, maggot!" He roared "Do you know who stands before you?! I am Riliath Infernus! The slayer of the 50! You shall know true fear at the head of my blade!" With that, he gave Kasai a small kick, and the horse galloped forwards, with it's dark rider roaring as the pair catapulted forth.

[Bast]

She leapt back, swearing quietly, dropping the now-misshapen dagger before quickly moving to another area, as it became visible as soon as it left her hands - not to mention the swearing, which was a little louder than she'd inteded it, as she was nursing a painful burn from the superheated end.

[Gensayce Zidjiai]

Gensayce had mounted Dilu when Riliath handed him the reigns, but swiftly stopped in his tracks at the sound of swearing and swiftly spun around, looking towards Alessia he spotted what appeared to be a melting knife on the ground and a thin red line of blood on Alessia's neck, although she did not seem harmed.

"Lady Alessia!" he cried, turning his horse and galloping over towards her. His steed seemed ill at ease as he looked down at Alessia. Reaching up with one hand, he pulled the snarling wolf visor up over his head, revealing his face.

"Lady Alessia." He said, checking over his shoulder for any attacks. "You are not hurt, are you?!" He was scanning the space behind Alessia, looking for whatever had dropped the knife. He quickly picked up the sound of the swearing and charged in that direction. "Lo!" He cried, pointing his spear in the general direction "Do not flee, show yourself and face me!" He spun his spear over his head, before nodding his helmet forwards, the visor shut down over his face, the snarling wolf taking the place of his face.

"Gensayce Zidjiai challenges you!"

[Bast]

Quickly, she leapt out of the way again, dodging to one side and then getting to the other end of the field as fast as possible.

Is he stupid? she thought. Like I'm going to obey a childish challenge like that!
