"...food..." The thought is unappealing, after just tossing it up. "Yeah, fine." I wasn't going to deny him food. "Come on, let's get in line." I reply with a blank stare at the machine. Something about being up that high was very enticing.

It didn't take long until we were at the front of the line, staring up at the gigantic machine. "What do you think it's gonna feel like? Being all the way up there I mean." I questioned, beginning to feel odd. What would it feel like to fall from up there? I shuddered at the thought, but clenched my fists in an attempt to stay calm. "I wonder what the people will look like..." The machine loomed up in front of me, startling me ever so much. I can't be afraid of this silly machine. I have to look strong for Rin!

"You're a real wuss, Dai." I reply with a sly grin. It was his turn this time. "Let's just get on." I say in an almost-cruel tone, getting behind him and pushing him in with my head. I follow him in and take a seat on the floor. "Just relax."

I stand up with a slick, snake-like rise. "Odd how, scaredy-cat?" I questioned him. My smile was one of superiority. I was winning. I sit down in one of the benches. If I had arms, I would have relaxed them behind my head just to show off more.

"I can't explain it, I guess..." I mumble, as I scooch closer to her. "I just... I just prefer being on the ground..." I risk a peek over the edge of the machine, and cringe back in fear. "L-Look over the side... The people are so tiny..." I don't wanna fall. I don't wanna fall. PLEASE don't let me fall!

"R-Rin you're not serious are you?!" I begin to freak out. "I-I don't want to hurt people Rin! We can't be giants!" I begin breathing faster, and look over the side again, seeing all of the people. "Rin! Please tell me you're kidding around!" I yelled as I sat down and wrapped my arms around her.

"Noooo!" I yell, as I look over the side and realize that we are at the full height of the machine. "I don't want to kill people Rin! You can't make me! This machine can't make me!" I yelled as I tightened my hug. "Please, tell me that I can just walk off into the ocean or something, and leave all the people alone!"

I refuse to, unless they're bad and hurting people themselves. I swear right now that even if I am a giant forever, that i'm only going to protect others. Especially Rin. Even though she forced us into this situation...

I'd always wished we'd come back at sunset to see this from here.

I didn't want to let go in fear of falling. "Finally over!" I said as I jumped from the machine. "Oh sweet ground, how I missed you!" I cried sarcastically as I doubled over and fake-hugged the ground. "I never want to go that high up again... At least not without you Rin." I looked back and smiled at her. Getting up, I brushed myself off and played with my hair a bit. "So how about that food?"

I smirked at him. "Yeah, whatever you want, Daisuke." I step off the giant wheel and pat his back with my nub. "What are you hungry for...?" I had a couple of" monies" from a painting I sold recently. I could pay for it. Of course, that implies he'd let me pay.
