1.0:A final moment of peace... (open to all)

[The Other]

"Now little warrior, don't try your luck. Your naiveté is endearing, but your threats will get you hurt." The Other snarled as he held back his aberrant behaviour. "Now why don't you restrain your puerile emotions back long enough to think before you lose yourself a powerful ally and gain a powerful enemy?"

The Other did not budge an inch, he merely looked down at Enizo and the Guardians with his arms folded under his massive chest and waited.

[Enizo]

"Don't get me wrong, having you work with us would be awesome. Did you hear that? Work 'with' us. So I'm going to send you out there, let you get torn up a little by Duo and maybe you'll finally come back with an ounce of respect for the situation we're in." Enzio growled out, "Your title does not earn my respect, respect is earned through actions."

He leaned forward on the desk he was behind and motioned for the door, "So let's try something new, when you address me I will be addressed by 'sir', in the same manner, I will address you by 'sir' as well. We're all equals here. Otherwise I'll take my chances with you being our 'enemy'."

[The Other]

The Other strained to not laugh, letting only a low chortle in response. "That's more like it little boy...oh sorry, I meant sir. Now that we're all..." The Other choked on his laughter, stifling it as best he could. "equals here, do please go on."

[Enizo]

He simply grinned, "Thank you, Sir Other. Now, where was I... Oh yes," he nodded, "For those who don't know, 1000 years ago Duo Angelo was supreme leader of... the entire world. In the process millions were killed and the Saints were sealed away. Now the main problem is that he's back, we don't know what he's been planning or how he's going to execute it."

He shrugged, "The Martial Law is in place to unite an army if he attempts to raise one of his own, but our evidence suggests that he's not looking to overthrow any government... yet. I would put Unda on high alert though, seeing that was his home country and he may move to familiar territory. But I believe it's fair to say he's made his first move, an odd move for sure... I expect he'll make a bolder move so-"

Suddenly there was an explosion that rocked the castle. Everyone inside could simply hear the 'boom' for it must have hit just outside the walls.

"Ladies and gentlemen, that's our signal."

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar sighed, "This happens way too much..." He muttered as he stood up, and pulled out his cape. He tied it on, and looked at the handle sticking out of his cape. "Alright. Enizo, I need you to get these people out of here. If you can lend me some of your men to check out the situation, that would be great." Yeligar asked as he walked out towards the door.

[Alessia]

Whatever was about to happen it felt like it was on the climax, the air was thick with tension as the cut through the city.

As they were making their way down a street and past a group of guards, Alessia had kept her head down in hopes she'd be ignored. Sadly, this wasn't to be, a guard quickly turned around and grabbed onto her arm.

"Hold on a second miss," the guard urged as Alessia did her best to pull away.

"L-Let go of me," she said trying to jerk away, but before Nia or Alessia could do anymore there was a sudden 'boom'. There was an explosion that was so powerful and shocking. Even at this distance the force of it threw them off their feet. Alessia, who was shocked by the sudden blast, quickly grabbed Nia's hand and pulled her up, "Run!" She screamed as two more blasts followed.

There was an urge to run back because she was worried for her children. But she knew they were safer without her and the fact that they were in a room surrounded by some of the most powerful people in the world also helped.

[Zeke Omoihake]

Great, this guy is the next Trucido...why can't these megalomaniacal types be weak pushovers instead of always being terrifying powerhouses? Zeke looked on with a sour expression till he heard the rumble of the castle walls shuddering against a terrible force. "Wha? Alexander my lord, I think we'd best get you out of here." Zeke said as his eyes raced around for something he could use as a weapon till they got to the front gates.

Man what I wouldn't give right now to have my brush still working. Never had to worry about having a blade when it was just a stroke away.

[Enizo]

"Leaving now would only put you and your King in harms way," Enzio warned, "If he wanted to hit the castle he would have. He's drawing us out to fight." Enzio eyes quickly darted over to Roxa, "Roxa, get me a map of the city, please. And Yeligar? Take Kazan, he's the only one who would be of any use to you."

His eyes scanned over to the other A.G., to which he simply shrugged, "No offense guys."

[Andy Jammer]

Andy stopped and whirled around at the explosion, turning to the others.

"Oh hell that can't be good." he muttered, turning to the others. "Wait...Duo...I heard that name before."

He frowned, the name suddenly bringing back a rush of memories from a year ago...when the Saints came back..

"..Wait...Duo, the same Duo the Saints spoke of? I thought Duo was gone?"

[Enizo]

"Yeah, he was." Enzio said as he looked around for a map, "But during the battle with Kain Angelo the Tower of Salvation sustained some incredible damage. So bad in fact it crashed to the ground, which you all know. Sadly, we believed Duo Angelo had been sealed in that tower and unfortunately, we were right."

"Fact is, he's been among us for the past two years. I wouldn't be surprised if he knows all about us..." Enzio frowned. Another explosion rocked the area, "He's getting impatient it seems."

Alexander kept his thoughts to himself as Enizo talked about respect being 'earned through actions', for if the man truly believed that he'd soon see himself that he wasn't anything much to be respected. At least, that's what the Santo-Lucian king thought.

The first explosion was enough to shake even the cockiness out of Alexander...momentarily, anyway. He knew he'd heard the name Duo, he knew briefly that he was a horrible person--for what all he was unclear of aside from what Enizo shared now--and apparently here he was now trying to force a fight with all of them. Alexander's only involvement with war up until now had been against Trucido and in recent times joining forces with Benjamin to clean up the political world. It threw him off-guard horribly to be out of Santo-Luce's safety for a wedding and here he was now under attack.

Calm? He looked it. He probably could have fooled most of the people around him if they didn't know him that well, the way Foxy's fur stood on end as she paced around the room, tail whipping back and forth hurriedly probably just looked like an anxious pet scared of the explosions outside. If Zeke noticed, he'd know differently. He'd known Alexander enough that if he were to look into the king's eyes it would be obvious he was scared and at a loss of what to do. Leaving wasn't the smartest solution, though listening to a random stranger also wasn't the answer, as much as Enizo tended to push it. They needed to work together, yes, but that was it.

Alexander closed his eyes briefly and let his hands fall to his sides as he took a couple of noticeable deep breaths. In this silent moment his fox companion stopped in her pacing, ears twitching as she looked to her master who had a bit of a golden glow that showed through the collar of his shirt, the chrysoberyl he wore underneath it shining being the cause of it. When his eyes opened, he appeared to be more enlightened, though his worry still evident as he turned his gaze to Zeke.

"Stay with me," he told the captain what was probably the obvious, though Alexander's tone layered the simple sentence with several thoughts he clearly didn't intend to share with everyone around them, and at least one of those he wouldn't share even with Zeke. It wasn't his own life he was worried about in this situation.

Nia panicked as the guard grabbed Alessia. Of both of them, why did it have to be the one who'd be noticed?! probably because she was noticed...

The explosion that rattled all of them and sent them all falling to the ground was a blessing and a curse at the same time. As morbid of a blessing it was, it was exactly what Alessia and her needed to get to their feet and get the hell out of there.

Nia sputtered about in her usual way, throwing in the usual strings of "bother bother bother!" in as she and Alessia broke out into what felt like (and probably was) the hardest run for their lives. They couldn't have been that far away from the outer city limits, could they?

With the castle walls rumbling about there came a hurried pattering of light footsteps, Jasmine's small figure whipping around the different bodies standing around in the room as she made her way to Andy. Stopping by his side she let out a heavy sigh, her shoulders falling into a more relaxed position as though just being near him seemed to ease her worries. She only wished she could have seen the same thing between Alessia and Roxa, but as it were Alessia was still nowhere to be found...

It was odd. Jasmine bit her lip. She wasn't a sleuth but she almost felt like she should have been able to solve this mystery if 'the boys' (so to speak) were solving the 'former evil dictator of Allorum' issue.

[Yeligar Maelstrom]

Yeligar nodded and then said, "Enizo, I trust that you will make sure that these people are fine. Anyone that can and able, we need to defend the castle. So please follow me if you can." Yeligar pulled out his lance and quickly exited the building, and waited for those to follow him.

[Enizo]

"Watch your back Yeligar. I'll be our there soon enough to help you guys out." Enzio said while giving a nod to Yeligar.

Finally, Enzio found a map and laid it out so he could look at it. He closed his eyes, he could hear a whistling sound before another explosion hit. He knew how fast magic could travel and by doing so he could locate where they were firing from. Enzio quickly eliminated the areas where it was not possible to fire from by crossing it how with red Xs. After about a minute and a half of math work he circled a location and his eyes quickly looked up at the crowd.

"Is there anyone who's ready to fight?" Enzio said while scanning the crowd, "Because I think I've located our attacker."
