"A gift from beyond the grave..." Jasmine spoke in awe as though it were something mysterious and wonderful, though at the same time it kinda spooked her being that she wasn't really a fan of...dead things or really communicating with the dead, despite that being what she was forced to do on occasion. It still sent shivers down her spine.
"Alright!" she balled her fists and put on her most determined face yet, "let's get that key in the door, unlock our secrets here, and go save the day!"

Andy smirked at her enthusiasm, "Glad someone is seeing things most positively than I am..." The two of them made it down to the door and Andy held the key in his hand, "Whatever is behind this door...Duo wants badly, we can't let him have it. We have to either take it out of here...or destroy it, if we even can." He sighed and placed the key in the slot, the magic around the large door faded and the second it did the large bars holding the door shut suddenly released as well. Like the magic was acting as a giant spring for the door, when all the bars were undone the door did not swing open...but began to dismantle itself. Tiny pieces of the door, like stone blocks, stacked on top of itself and retracted to the edges of the door. Which revealed a long bridge in a room with a very large hole, in the middle was a single stand and a golden orb on it. "That's it?" Andy asked, not in disappointment but in curiosity. "That's what Duo wants...?" Suddenly he heard moving footsteps and when he moved behind him he gasped, the person from the wedding, the one with bandages on their face, stuck Andy on the chest with his palm and sent him flying into the room. "AHHHH!" Andy yelled as he flew backwards and smacked into the stand, he groaned and tried to stand up...when he felt a blade slide into his stomach. "Guh..." Andy gasped and saw the large blade protruding from his stomach, the bandaged attacker holding the handle of the blade, his other hand grabbing for the orb. Andy shot his hand out and his hand grabbed the orb just as it was about to touch the bandaged person's fingers....and a bright light shot from the chamber... THE TRUTH Part 1 End |

The Other merely gave the young Zhen a look of bemusement when asked about the artifact's properties. "Why silly boy, you lock it from the inside of course. Of course that would mean we'd have at least one smiling skeleton waiting inside to greet anyone that somehow made it in. I'm merely suggesting that that's what I'd do if I wanted something kept safe is all."
"Of course, even if it weren't and the key was indeed here, I'd sooner call myself a human than I would resort to crawling around looking for a babble like I was some sort of-of servant. Boredom comes and goes, little girl, but dignity lasts one's whole life." Despite Jasmine's pleading he stayed glued to that wall.
After what seemed like another mind-numbing stretch of doldrums(even though it was only a couple minutes), at last The Other saw the party return with the small stone in hand, and rubbing his hands together with eager anticipation he practically jumped off the wall and turned towards the door. "Well, seems like you silly mortals went and put the key somewhere simple after all. What do you think's waiting for us? Monsters? Traps? Maybe just a big empty room that laughs at you for having wasted your time? I can't wait..."
