Roxa followed suite "Grandfather we have no time for this man, let us simply work our way past him and get the artifact, maybe then we can head back home and get the study underway" Roxa hated lying about what he was but then again he did not hate it as much as Ave who protested inside of his mind.

Angelus leaned over and picked up the shard, slipping it into his belt. "Enough playing around, why is it that I can smell Yeligar our commander around you? There can be only one reason, you fought him." He grabbed his Katana and pointed it to Saints. "And if you two fought it must mean you're with the Sumata, so are you going to stop playing around and tell me why you really want this?"

"I think Yeligar is the man I fought" Roxa said with a small grin before leaping deftly over Sonorc and unsheathing both of his swords "I believe I should fight him..." ave muttered in his ear "I believe he may be stronger than the man we fought back at the inn..." Roxa sent the voice to the back of his mind, he did not plan on releasing Ave on the world anytime soon.

"Good, once I defeat you I'll defeat your friends." The blade started to glow with a blue aura, a spirit appearing behind him, mimicking his exact moves. "Yamato..." He spoke the demon's name.
With quick movement his sent three blue flying blades right to Roxa with a swing of his sword.

"Bah, have fun, Roxa." He said as he started to back off. He sat on the ground and watch the two fight. Don't do anything foolish, Roxa.

Roxa effortlessly raised a sword and the three blades dispersed harmlessly against the weapon. He exhaled slightly before shaking his head slightly "Well well well, It appears my own personal demons are not the only ones here" He said with a sly smile "This may get interesting"

"So it seems..." He used his power to cover himself in a deeper aura acting as a defense of sorts. Then he flew right into the air with the speed of a jet causing everyone's ears to ring from it. Sweeping around Roxa just before Angelus dived right at him swinging his blade down.

Roxa shook his head and the air around him seemed to solidify halting Angelus in his tracks although Roxa tightened his fist at the sudden use of his own power, crossing his arms across his chest Roxa's breathing increased and when he opened them a huge wave of air rolled over all surrounding him, nearly uprooting trees.

Angelus dropped to the ground and stabbed his blade into the ground resisting Roxa's wind attack before surging dark energy into the ground right below Roxa, causing the ground to explode below him.

Roxa's eyes widened as he lept up, nestling himself in the branches of a lofty tree "You are wasting your time and you know it!" Ave yelled at him "Fine!" Roxa growled aloud as he let himself tumble to the back of his mind.
That pale shade of red again, it covered everything. Ave sheathed the glittering silver blade, the sheen of the weapon almost made him physically sick. He looked down at the man who had destroyed the floor beneath him, dark magic could truly be troublesome "Well well well..." he growled leaping from the tree and landing on the opposite side of the crumbling ground "You are a pest aren't you?!"

He glanced at Roxa with slight confusion before catching on what has happened, Angelus simple smiled. "I do try to be. Tell me, how am I doing?"
He twirled his sword then slashed sending more blue blades at Roxa.

Alessia took a step back as the battle started, glancing over at Sonorc she spoke. "Sonorc, why those two fight why don't we sneak over and grab the shard?"

"I can't sneak like a kid anymore, Alessia." He said. He looked around and saw the damage they were doing to the trees.
"That can problematic..." He said as he looked at his cane. He started to twirl it and then he slammed it into the ground, and the ice wall had returned. "Go now, for I fear the wall will not hold up for long." He said as he looked at her.

Ave raised a hand effortlessly and the blue blades disintegrated into nothing "You are doing... acceptably well..." he muttered giving a dark grin "Now it is my turn!" he swung his free arm forwards, wrenching up clumps of earth and tossing them forwards towards Angelus
