Calm Before The Storm ((Roxa/Alessia/Sonorc))

[Akuma Shuen]

Akuma simply gave a curt nod, he doubted the involvements of one knight would spark war yet it was always best to be safe rather than sorry, he watched as the man in the overcoat sat down and seemed to change his mental state "Interesting..." he muttered "I must admit that is a very strange spirit you have inside of you" he mumbled, his dark red eyes watched with interest, he had an uncanny ability for detecting hidden spirits due to his ancestral line but this was something different, not a demon possessing the boy, but a spirit that he ably allows inside of his mind yet their was a close mental link... They would almost constantly be at war for control of his mind.

He looked across at Angelus and spoke "The boy is strange... I am unsure whether simply killing him would work, the spirit which he houses is powerful and their bond is strong" He held his left hand behind him pointing his longsword at the soil underneath him "I know magic which could seperate them to an extent, the spirit would be bound inside of the boy's mind but in turn we would give him full control of his own mind and body, he would most likely become a better fighter and his mind would be clearer than it already is" He smiled and lowered his longsword "Yes... his mind is already relativley clear and he doesn't care for the shard much at all..." he looked across at the pair with the shard.

"You" he said pointing his sword at the girl "You are what he really wants protecting" He took his defensive stance again and turned his gaze back onto Angelus "We could end this swiftly by striking the weaker pair, but would you be willing to fight a girl and an old man for the sake of this object? I know nought of what it actually is!"

[Angelus]

"They're just faces to me..." Angelus grumbled why studying Roxa, there was only one thing that ran into his mind... kill, "It's better that we kill all three of them, that way they can't come back and bite us in the ass for our cowardliness."

Angelus said pointing his sword at Roxa, he looked tired and unable to keep battling. But he knew when it came to someone protecting another strength seems unlimited. "Are you able to kill without doubt?"

[Akuma Shuen]

"I nearly fought to the death with another Nerezzian Captain in a sparring session..." Akums grumbled with a dark grin hiding behind his necktie "Killing people who do not deserve to die has no affect on me"

[Sonorc Optimus]

"Weaker pair?" Sonorc asked, "What are you talking about boy?" His face had an extremely confused look on it. "I would gladly take you two out, but which one is the girl and with one is the old man among you two?"

[Angelus]

"Good," Angelus nodded not doubting he could kill and ignoring the old man for his fury went to one person at the moment, "Let us paint this forest red in their blood then. I'll let you pick your target." Angelus raised his blade at Roxa, "I must finish what I started."

He said with a smile before swinging his blade down using darkness to power his strength of his blade to the point it'd split you in half.

[Sonorc Optimus]

Sonorc pulled his whistle and played it a bit. A bird flew in between Roxa and Angelus' blade, and took the hit, and killed it. "Now, we have what we need, I think we can leave. If you want to fight someone, fight me." He pulled out his dagger, and whistled again. Three birds where in the air encircling them.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

"No Sonorc" Roxa answered shaking his head with an almost innocent smile on his face "You take Alessia and the shard and get out of here..." He held his arms out wide and smiled with an almost impossible amount of happiness due to the situation "You want to kill me? Then kill me! I walk into the hands of death quite happily, my family will be [i[almost[/i] perfect there"

His face grew grim and he looked back at Sonorc "You protect her... and if you fail to do so, I will come back from wherever I am coming and I will kill you myself..."

[Alessia]

"Roxa, what do you think you're doing!?" Alessia yelled as she ran to Roxa despite the danger, "You can't just give up and die!" She was in fear, not for herself but for Roxa. She couldn't believe he's just giving up like this.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

Roxa simply turned to face her with a large smile on his face, he lowered his weapons despite the threat the two foes faced "I know..." he said nodding slowly "But I never said I planned to die, only that if that is what it comes to then I can accept that" He scratched his nose with his thumb somewhat nervously "But forget about me, just promise me that you will keep yourself safe"

[Angelus]

Angelus didn't seem to flinch at any of this, although lowering his blade to what it seemed to be giving them time to talk but was actually charging a powerful move. "Let the demon rise and the angels fall," he started mumbling under his breath, "Between the bloodshed an angel will rise, an angel that turns the blue sky black with fear...." It would take a minute to complete by the results will be horrible.

[Akuma Shuen]

Akuma frowned slightly before looking at Angelus "Know this..." he muttered "I do what I am about to do not for you, or for them" he motioned to Roxa and Alessia "I do this, because this is what she would want me to do" He smiled to himself "It may not make much sense to any of you now but it will over time, I promise" He took an offensive stance "When they sing the name Akuma Shuen, the Knight of Night then it shall all make sense!" He held out his free hand which now swarmed with an unatural orb of shadow.

"Kurayami no!" He yelled sending the orb forwards towards the pair, as it traveled it expanded in size intending to ensnare the two of them, once it had them trapped the sphere would shrink to it's original size, crushing all inside.

[Alessia]

Alessia was already to Roxa by the time he sent the magic orb at them, knowing she had no power to combat that power she simply hugged Roxa. If this was the end they then was the way she wanted to go out. With him, she didn't want to live if Roxa was killed.

[King Roxa Hiaten]

Roxa smiled slightly and placed an arm around her shoulders and clenched his other hand against the glittering sword which nestled against his palm, the sphere which squirmed behind them erupted in a huge blast of wind which buffetted everyone in the clearing. Roxa held his face lightly against Alessia's shoulder before letting her go and turning around to face the pair, his face alight with new found vigour.

"You know what..." he said tilting his head left and then right "I've changed my mind, I care not whether my father and mother are with the damned" he swung one of his swords as if testing it "My new family is here, although some of them are relativley blind, some are ignorant, and some pushing the age limit, No offence Sonorc, they are my family and I do not plan to leave them soon"

[Sonorc Optimus]

"Alessia, Roxa!" He said, as he saw they were alive. "My children... Roxa, deal with the new guy, I got black eye here. Alessia, we will be fine, and go!" He walked over and gave her the shard, and whistle a bird to come down and get her. He popped the top off of his dagger, and put it over him, "Zoom." He said, as everything around him was slowing down. He walked normally in this slow world, and used the blunt end of the cane to hit Angelus in the stomach with force.

[Alessia]

Alessia was resistant on going but gave in thinking she'd would get in their way. She hugged Roxa once more before kissing him, turning around and taking the shard as she got onto the bird. "Be careful you two!" She yelled as the bird flew away.
