Ayalan looked at her.. “You’ll have to excuse me..the theme of my original homeland only comes to mind..and I can’t really remember the Tuonian bardic theme..”
"Alberisato, the tale of a land, All of God’s creations, gone hand in hand, The coming together of people in stride, Fighting the leaders, of those who had lied- Then God came through, a fighter called forth, Destroying the star of pure vanity, This fighter of death and destruction from north, He was the sure one, the last one you’d see.
Alberisato, the land of green fortune, Alberisato, the land of the true moon, We all live in our land, full of great pride, The only land made, for the advancement of stride, Alberisato, we fight for our times ahead, Alberisato, we fight for our ancestors long, since dead.
Our old capital, made of ancient stone, Our truest gift in the form of a tree; The weeds of our land, the threads of life shown, The one and truly only land that is free. The witches have found their way to our land as well, But you know, one day, our God will show them our hell.
Alberisato, the land of green fortune, Alberisato, the land of the true moon, We all live in our land, full of great pride, The only land made, for the advancement of stride, Alberisato, we fight for our times ahead, Alberisato, we fight for our ancestors long, since dead.
The only tale of a vibrant forest land, The only tale of a country created by God’s hand, When one hears this tale, surely they’ll know- There’s a land, that exists, called Alberisato.”
He cleared his throat, and looked aside, not too keen on his own singing voice- however, he was pretty good for not having sung in awhile. Definitely better than a normal bard.

Elysia had closed her eyes to listen and opened them now, clapping lightly. "That was a nice song. I enjoyed it. Thank you."

Ayalan looked aside, for once, a tinge barely reached his cheeks- he looked back to Elysia, composed again.
"..I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll try to remember the Tuonian songs for you next time..I haven't sung for years now. Not many people know that was my young lifestyle.."
He leaned back, and closed his eyes, sighing in relief that he could remember any song of his past.
"..Anything else you'd like to do or hear or talk about?" he seemed a bit unsure of his own abilities as he felt a bit more open.

Elysia nodded and stored that information in her mind for later.
"You came from Alberisato?"

Ayalan looked aside a moment as he opened his mouth searching for words.
"Abandoned there, found there, and raised there..then basically I've wandered these lands for a decade and some years. From the deepest mages' realms-He remembered Maliciferum and Nia- and assassins' guilds- He remembered his sister- all the way to Naval training along Unda-He remembered Caramel- to the depths of warrior training in, well, here. Tuono...and now the leader of Chalybs."
He looked back to Elysia, "And..that's my life in a small shell...plenty of stories along the way but they'd bore you."

"Were you the one who organized the overthrow of Chalyb's previous government or were you the selected leader of it?"

Aya smirked a bit and looked aside, "Would you believe a bit of both?.."
He readjusted himself to explain, "Basically, the people of Chalybs had been tired of living under harsher rule, and I extended my invitation to all of those who wanted a different leader- many had come, a plan was devised, and we put through the overthrow. I had been a part of that.."
He cracked his own neck, "And when time came for a leader to be selected...I was put up as a nominee with the two people who had helped me and we formed a trinity of leadership, dividing jobs based on skill set."

She nodded. "And you accepted, even though you feel you would not make a good leader?"

Ayalan looked back aside, "Spread amongst three people, I felt more at ease, than alone. Plus those people needed someone at the head of the attack to look up to. They would have entered a state of self war if they could not see which of their own people was to be the best leader."
He extended a hand, stroking his chin along the way, as a 'therefore' "it would be best to have an outsider take care of the area that they can trust."
Ayalan brought his hands back, awaiting any more of her conjecture.

"And the others ruling Chalybs with you have no objections with my involvement?"

Ayalan shook his head, "I'm the public and democracy leader. For whatever reason I have that position, I'm unsure, but last I checked, truces, treaties, allies, and declarations of war are within my power, and I'm using them for the right person. Reason." He corrected himself as he folded his arms.
"Besides, I'm sure the others would easily be happy to see you as an ally, albeit you'd see more of me than them- Rutger takes care of the troops and inner workings of the city, Leeith takes care of special forces, technology advancement and all of the workings that one can easily work alone on. So..you're stuck with me."
He grinned.

Elysia scoffed. "I haven't agreed to anything yet."
She folded her arms and leand back, closing her eyes. "Besides, I could also agree and then have you killed, leaving me alone in that position. Though the others you share power with would probably object to that..."

Ayalan smiled at her first comment, "I guess your realization that you'd be dealing with me was a dealbreaker?" He looked at her and leaned in, his hands crossed into each other.
"And you could have me killed. You're right," he didn't have a but, if, or anything come after.
He let it be for what it was, as he copied her action, leaning back and closing his eyes.
"...well. But you might miss me. Just maybe the smallest, tiniest miss. But you can't risk that." He looked up with a smirk.

Elysia scoffed again but didn't reply to that.
"We are nearly at the castle."

Aya's arms unfolded, and he sat up straight, "I suppose that means we'd best get ready and prepared."
He stretched, and folded his hands on his waist, slumping again.
"And ready."
