Ayalan frowned a bit, as he nodded.
"I kind of figured you would say that."
He sighed and shook his head, "..Well then I'm glad I've been able to accompany you twice in your spare time. Just to have fun."
Aya looked up at Elysia, "...Well let's see your orator abilities." He moved on, not wishing to dwell on her lack of personal time.

"That will wait. I do not like repeating myself, and you will hear my short speech at the same time as the rest."
"Besides, I suppose one could call the journey there 'free time'. Do you have nothing to discuss other than asking questions about me?"

Ayalan nodded at her request, understanding that it'd be annoying to say the same thing twice.
However he did take a side glance, wondering what he would say as she questioned him. "I mean..I liked to get to know you, you could always ask questions. It's not like we could have a duel or a race here. Talking is all I have. And magic. But still. I mean. Uhm. What did You exactly want to do?"
He had honestly no idea of what to say, as he questioned, "Tell me what Tuono is like then."

Elysia paused and thought for a moment. "What I have seen of it... Is decent. The people seem to be generally kind and open, though there are naturally those who simply hide their true cruelty to attempt to take advantage. The lands are fertile and green. But truthfully... I do not know. There is much I have not seen. I spent most of my life hidden away in a building far away from any towns or other people. Since taking the throne I have only seen the castle and villages immediately near it. Much of what I know of Tuono is from history books and lessons."

Ayalan nodded in full understanding: now that was a point to hark on. "Have you wanted to explore the country?"
Really, he leaned back, and said further, "Or do you want to at some point?" He put his feet level on the ground. "I know the area pretty well from here to Ariadelvento like the back of my hand strangely enough..although I know you're busy".

"I will explore the country when duty requires me to do so. Otherwise..." She shook her head, "There would be no time."

Ayalan looked at her for a moment, and thought deeply.
"...Then make it your duty to see who in Tuono needs help, and cannot easily tell the palace of that fact. I can certainly-..."
..He looked over at her, "..Well what if I could lead you to area of Tuono that still need help?" It was true, he knew the area better than some, and some areas were slummed, some were in harsh noxious conditions, and still some were under siege of internal strife.
"That way..you'd do your job, and be able to see the country?" He negotiated the two sides together, as he looked back aside.
"Of course, I dunno how easily prepared a caravan wagon would be able to go through small mountainsides or thick forested areas. But..it's simply my offer, if you'd like me to help you." And honestly, he meant to help her in a few ways besides just showing her the bad parts of a country- he also knew she needed time for herself beyond eating alone.

She was quiet for a moment, considering this. "Perhaps... I would have to speak with my advisors, and leave someone in charge of the immediate area in my stead. It would take a lot of preparation."

Ayalan looked aside as he nodded, "Take as long as you need..I won't be dying anytime soon, thanks to you." He smirked and laughed to himself.
"...And then we can see Tuono for what you will correct, remake, and perfect. And you know. Maybe you'll have time where you're doing your job, and enjoying the sights. That's what I'd hope for anyway."
Aya looked back outside, he was tapping his cheek, mostly bothered by his own woes and ideas, but Elysia wouldn't be able to really see it with that smirk on his face.
"I guess you'd best get ready for your delivery."

Elysia scowled at the reminder. She didn't like speaking in front of crowds; it was hard to get used to still.
It wasn't long before they were passing the homes of the villagers, and then the carriage stopped, close to the center of town and the festivities.

Ayalan looked aside and smirked, as he folded his arms at the scowl.
They got to the center and he opened the door, saying, "Just pretend like you're only talking to me. You'll feel better I'm sure."
He got out of the carriage, extending a hand to help her out, "I hate talking to people on a grand scale too," he mumbled to her.

Elysia didn't respond and kept her face blank as she stepped out of the carriage to greet her people. They quickly led her up onto a small stage put together just for the event. She began to speak as the villagers quieted.
"Good morning, people of Tuono, and thank you for inviting me to join your festivities today. It is indeed a great thing we celebrate; the discovery of another resource to better our lands and our people. This well will help during the summer droughts, the undergound river that feeds it keeping the resource safe from the heat of the sun. It will be available to all, so none here will be thirsty."
"I am honored to be the subject of it's dedication and hope that my actions as your queen will continue to live up to your expectations. Thank you."
She sighed very softly as she stepped off the stage. At least she hadn't been expected to give a long speech...

Ayalan stood at the bottom of the stairs, giving her a quick clap, "Your speech seems very practiced. I'm curious..does this happen often enough that you have it mostly memorized?"
He smiled at her, still happy to see that she got that done with- everyone looked happy except her, as he spoke, "Not even going to crack a smile?"
Aya reopened the carriage door, knowing her schedule was tight, allowing her in.

"I hate giving speeches." She spoke lowly so only he could hear as she got into the carriage and sat again. "And no, it doesn't happen often. But I rehearse what I plan to say. Plain and oversaid though it may be, it is better than making a fool of myself."

Ayalan smiled a bit as he followed in after her, closing the door, and closing his eyes to relax again.
"I hate them too, but at the very least you get them out of the way as fast as possible. So that's a good thing."
He spoke again, "You still could smile more though."
Aya's grin came through, a silvery fang of sorts gleaming, and he sighed- "I guess all you need to do now are your next few meetings, correct?"
