Faeylinn walked along the treetops, slowing down once every few minutes to look over a railing and down to the ground below. She and Nintsu were slowly making their way through Nemus Village, half because it was on the way to Crepusculum Kingdom, and half because she thought the village in the treetops was pretty.
The whole way there she'd been babbling about anything and everything that came to mind, from music to books to movies to people she'd met and places she'd been, places she wanted to go, etc. She was just finishing up with telling a story at the moment, turning around and walking backwards to face Nintsu while she spoke. "So then, he ended up setting his hand on fire a third time, and he still to this day thinks that it was a good idea!"

Nintsu barely hear her as he scans the huts and houses among the trees in amazement, he barely even blinked as he moved, hardly keeping up with Faeylinn.
How spectacular that I can walk among the trees with ease! I wonder if all cities are this Majestic?[/i]
keeping up with Faeylinn has thrown him off his own pace and less thorough in his scan for danger, but he trusts in his safety nonetheless.
At this time he realizes that she turned around to talk to him and he hears the end of her story. He lets out a short chuckle and gives a good natured smile"Where are we now? Its Spectacular"[/i]

Faeylinn grinned at him. "We're in Nemus Village, in Alberisato. I think it's in the treetops becuase some king guy wanted a nice view or something like that. Anyways, it's really cool. I was here once before and I figured you might want to see it too!"

It certainty is beautiful,[/i] thought Nintsu as he tried a few times to get solid footing on a particularly unstable looking walkway
"I think both you and this man made the right decision. Trading the fear of attack for the fear of falling. You can train yourself to be good among the trees, better than any of your enemies. Plus it is quite a view."[/i] He says this he decides to let those waiting impatiently for him to pass by him.

Faey smiled and nodded excitedly, then lost her balance, swaying for a moment and accidentally bumping a passerby while trying to regain her balance. "Oops, my bad!" She laughed off her own clumsiness and moved out of the way poiltely. "Aye, the view is really nice. Must suck if you're acrophobic, though!" She grinned at her bad joke.

Nintsu didn't smile, he was starting to worry about the height. "We have to try to be more-"[/i] He stopped mid-sentence as his demon's sixth sense for danger started to act up, something was happening, but he couldn't identify what. THE PATH! THE PATH IS GOING TO COLLAPSE![/i] his Demon screamed at him warning him of what was going to happen
"WATCH OUT!"[/i] Nintsu screamed at Faeylinn as he started running, unsure which direction was safer.

Faeys eyes widened at Nintsu's sudden shout, then she heard a creaking sound, and began running as well as the creak turned into the loud noise of strained wood breaking under too much weight. She ran in the same direction as Nintsu, and thanks to his warning she hadn't been standing on the walkway when it collapsed. After a minute she stopped, looking back to make sure no more of the pathway was falling. Thankfully, it seemed to be isolated to just that walkway. "I hope no one else fell..." she said, almost to herself, then turned to Nintsu. "Thanks for warning me, or I probably would've fallen too." She smiled sheepishly, then tilted her head, curious, "How did you know it was going to fall? That walkway looked fine a few minutes ago..."

Nintsu keeps his back to Faeylinn, refusing to show his face right now, not while his whole body was radiating a slight blue hue as he focused with all his might to contain the change the demon was trying to force on him.
I can't let this happen, the danger is gone, and the added weight could only make things worse.[/i] Nintsu thought as he fought off the demon within him I WONT LET YOU TAKE OVER DEMON![/i] but while he fended off the change, he could not stop the glow.
Finally after a long silence he struggles to respond, barely squeezing out his words and speaking with what almost sounds like two voices "I have............a power.........like how you can heal.......I can........sense danger"[/i]

Faey frowned- his voice sounded... Odd. She couldn't quite place it, but it didn't sound the way it had before... And he wouldn't face her either. "Being able to sense danger must be handy... Is something wrong?"

He could sense a hint of confusion in her voice and it stung him. He thought he might be able to conceal what he was, but he could sense the change was coming and there wasn't anything he could do about it.
"I have to go"[/i] He says more in a raspy voice this time as he starts running again hoping she wouldn't follow him
I have to get away from here. The Demon is coming. I can't stop it and that is the real danger. I can't control myself when he comes.[/i] he thought as he considered leaping to the ground, away from all these people.

Faeylinn blinked, surprised, as he started running away. "What?.. Hey, wait!" She started running after him, knowing now that something was definitely wrong. If she lost track of him here she would probably have a lot of trouble finding him again, if she would be able to find him at all.

Nintsu's stride doesn't slow, not even when he stumbles or loses his footing for a little bit. His body really starts to show the signs of the change now though, the blue glow turns into cracks across his body as strangers among the village begin to scream as they see him.
I'm not going to be able to get out of here,[/i] Thought Nintsu as he looked for options. Damn, I'm going to have to jump. I'll be fine, but there will be no hiding on the forest floor. If someone follows me.......I don't even want to think it[/i]
Nintsu stops and turns his body around to see if someone was following him, locking eyes with Faeylinn for a moment showing a face that could only be described as regretful as he lets himself tumble backwards over the rail and towards the ground finishing his transformation mid fall.

Faey had continued running after him even after some of the villagers started screaming, until she noticed the blue glow. Then she stopped running, just as he turned to face her, and then she screamed as well as he fell from the walkways. She stood there for a moment, horrified, before running to where he'd fallen from and looking down, but she couldn't see anything through the foliage- the forest floor was completely obscured from view. "Oh my god..."

A python slithers by the Demon lying on his back on the forest floor, stopping only for a moment to hiss and dart away as fast as it could. The Demon gazes up at the trees seeing only the complicated twists and turns of the branches that these enormous trees have protecting the canopy from vision.
"That hurt,"[/i] he says as he propels himself to his feet. "I wonder what there is to eat around here."[/i] the Demon thinks out loud as he looks around scanning for large animals or perhaps even humans who fell from the collapse not too long ago, although he couldn't remember if any had fallen.

After thankfully only a minute of staring down Faey got to her feet and started frantically searching for a way to get to the ground. After five more minutes she finally found an old ladder someone said was for 'emergencies' that went down to the ground. It took a few more minutes for her to reach the ground, she was trying to be careful not to fall and/or break one of the old wooden rungs, but when she finally reached the ground she was running again, trying to find about where Nintsu must have fallen. Please please please let him be okay...
