"Aye, thats it. It held my weight pretty well on the way down, but I'm not sure it will hold us both at the same time. You should go up first, and in a minute I'll follow you...' She was eyeing the bush warily, knowing that it would be irritating at best getting through it to the ladder.

"If you think thats best,"[/i] He said as he shrugged and pushed through the brush, the branches yanking at his leg and arm causing them to sting. Still he only stopped once to free himself from being caught and as soon as he was through he approached the ladder. it looked worse from up close, most of it made of wood that was rotting, even already broken in a few places.
"Alright, here goes nothing"[/i] He mumbles as he grasps it within his bad hand first, to make himself used to the pain of climbing early.
After climbing halfway up he shoults down toward Faeylinn, "IT SEEMS TO BE HOLDING, SURE HOPE IT KEEPS UP."[/i]

Faey smiled and shouted back "Good, but be careful still, okay?" She bit her lip and looked around nervously. I hope that beast-thing doesn't show up...

Sure[/i] he thought as he fought through the pain and took his time, deciding carefully which steps he should use and which to skip.
It didn't take long until he was at the top and shouted down, "ALRIGHT, ITS YOUR TURN! JUST WATCH WHICH STEPS YOU USE, SOME OF THEM MIGHT BREAK!"[/i]

"'KAY!" With that, Faey turned her attention to getting through the bush, muttering under her breath a few times when her hair or clothing caught, but finally getting through to the ladder. She quickl began climbing up, slowing a few times to carefully avoid a few rungs that looked particularly unstable. A few minutes later she got to the top of the later, a little out of breath, and smiled at Nintsu. "You okay still?"

"I'm just tired," [/i] He says catching his breath"Lets find somewhere to rest for a while."[/i]
Nintsu still couldn't come up with a convincing lie, nor was he certain that lying was a good idea
My mind will clear up after I rest I'm sure.[/i] He thought, A rested body makes a sharp mind.[/i] He repeated these word in his mind. He wasn't sure where he knew them from, but they were as familiar as the sun and the sky.

After Wandering for a few minutes The two of them find a place called 'The Angry Hawk Tavern' with a sign that says 'vacancies'.
"This should do,"[/i] He says signaling the place.

Faey nodded in agreement and pushed open the door, looking around. "It'll do for a night, it'll start getting dark in an hour or so anyways." She headed up to the innkeeper and paid him for two rooms for the night, then turned back to Nintsu. "Do you want dinner or something? We could eat here or get something somewhere else, if you want."

"I'm....not hungry. Sorry, but if you don't mind I would prefer to just crash."[/i] He said trying to gauge a reaction from her. He wasn't sure if that was acceptable, after all Nintsu had no money and this girl had just paid for his room.

She nodded. "Okay. I should probably get to sleep, too." She smiled sheepishly, "It's been a long day for both of us, aye?" She gave a quick laugh. "Well, I'm off to my room, then. I'll see you in the morning, okay? Don't do anything to strain you left side, thought, aye? I'm getting tired of patching you up." She was teasing, but in all honesty that fall had broken quite a few bones, and healing those was always tiring for her. "Goodnight Nintsu!" She waved quickly and with that headed off towards her room for the night.

"G'night"[/i] Nintsu said as he waved back at her as she walked away. He was relieved to get some rest, both because he was tired and to put off that inevitable question, what happened back there?.
As soon as Nintsu got to his room he collapsed onto the bed.
'Wow' was all he had time to think before he passed out. It had been too long since he had been on a bed.

The next morning Faey woke up feeling a little bit tired still, but forced herself to get up. Blechhh it should be illegal for the sun to be up this early. She looked out the small window in her room and sighed. I should probably go wake up Nintsu so I can check how his arm and leg are doing...
Two minutes later she walked out of her room and to the door of the one Nintsu was staying in, knocking on the door. "Hey, you up?"

Nintsu was sitting on the floor in silence when he heard the knocking on the door.
Yeah, just a second"[/i] He called as he rose to his feet.
He opened the door and Smiled at Faeylinn outside, "what's up?"[/i]

Faey smiled back and nodded. "Came to check on your arm and leg, how are you feeling? Sore at all?" She wanted to make sure her fatigue yesterday hadn't prevented her from healing him completely, and to finish healing him if it had.
