*Meanwhile with Yeligar*
Yeligar heard the portal being shut behind him as the demons were no more than a few yards away. His crystal armor completely covering him, he stood ready for the horde of demons.
“Alright… THUNDERCRACK!” Yeligar shouted as the beam of a lightning fired, and vaporized the front line of demons. Yeligar then ran towards the demons. Though Yeligar stabbed at the first demon, the hero soon found out that his attack left him open for his opponent get in one last blow. Yeligar jumped back, the sword from his enemy still in his armor. He pulled it out and threw it at another demon. While his mark was true, a group of demons jumped at Yeligar hoping to have the aerial advantage.
“Bolt Burst!” Yeligar said, as a ring of yellow light appeared high above the demons, and then lightning came down with viscous, powerful, explosion; striking the demons in their backs. Then two massive centaur like demons charged at him. One with brass knuckle like weapon with the other one had a trident in each hand. The Knuckle centaur came first and swung at Yeligar, he raised his crystal shield to block the fist and when they made contact the knuckle centaur screamed as it pulled its fist back. It’s hand bleeding with a dozen or so crystal spikes in its fingers. Yeligar quickly took this time to jump up to the Centaur and stab it in the chest. It roared again and grabbed Yeligar, throwing him towards the trident centaur.
Yeligar flipped his body in the air and managed to spin around, avoiding a strike that was have skewered him completely... but his arm got cut from one of the tridents. Yeligar swung his lance, to deflect the other trident heading to finish the job. As he landed on the ground he leaped back some to avoid the centaur as he thrust his tridents at him. Yeligar noticed that the knuckle centaur was charging right at him.
“I wonder how smart these things are…” Yeligar asked as he jumped up, avoiding the fist and the trident attacks, landing on the trident wielding centaur's shoulder. Unlucky for the other centaur, his comrade's trident did not miss him, as the Knuckle Centaur was stabbed by its comrade. The Knuckle centaur, even through its pain, reached out and tried to punch Yeligar. Yeligar jumped up, missing the fist as it struck the trident centaur’s face. Yeligar grinned as the two idiots were fighting among themselves.
“Hey idiots!” The two looked as Yeligar as his lance had an lightning aura in the shape of a blade. “Eletroblade!”
He swung the lance, and decapitated the two creatures. As Yeligar came down, he pointed his lance down and landed on top a leftover demon that was just standing on the field. Yeligar took a breath of air, then he felt a pressure on around him. It was stronger than any other demon Yeligar had face… and maybe even him.

The remaining demons stopped and looked around, and then a massive chasm opened up. Arose from it,
a demon that was about the same height as a human, its body covered in a white plated armor, it's eyes glowing a blue hue. In it's hand, a massive blade that appeared to have been made of bones.
“Work on getting that damn portal back open, you troglodytes!” The demon roared as it walked up toward Yeligar.
“This is the piece of shit that defeated you? “ The demon scoffed as it looked Yeligar. Yeligar quickly got his lance up and stabbed the demon, the Lance struck one of the paltes but the weapon was deflected.
“… Really? I am fighting a mortal here... How pathetic.” It laughed as it raised it’s free hand and backhanded Yeligar. It shattered some of the crystal armor, and Yeligar was thrown back and he crashed into the ground.
“Who are you?” Yeligar asked as he coughed up some blood and stood up.
“I am a demon king; Hydmuertos.”
Hydmeurtos said as walked slowly towards Yeligar, who charged again and pointed his lance at Hydmeurtos, shouting; “Thundercrack!”
A bright yellow beam shot out and searing bolts completely covered Hydmeurtos. The beam was still being fired, it looked like the General had an advantage... but then, a hiss of wind, sharp pain, a sword came out of nowhere and slashed Yeligar across the chest. Yeligar stumbled backwards as his lightning attack died down.
“They never told you that a demon king can only be killed by the power of an archangel or a god?” The demon king questioned mockingly, as it kicked Yeligar up in the air and then when he came back close to the ground. Hydmuertos slammed his hand on Yeligar’s back, and made him crash into the ground making a crater.
“So… Yeligar is it?” Hydmuertos said looking at the blood on his blade, “Though a disappointment in battle I must let you know...you aren’t like other people it seems...”
“How do you know my name?” Yeligar asked as he got up, coughing more blood out of his mouth.
“I cut you with my sword, I can learn anything I need to know about you.” It said, looking at the blood, his voice took a more informative tone; “A warlord from Crepusculum, fighter of the Sumatas, and many other beings threatening Allorum.”
Yeligar stood up and made another attempt to stab at Hydmuertos, the demon-king scoffed as the lance barely harmed him. With an impressive flash of speed he slashed Yeligar and shattered more armor off of his body.
“Not only is your skillset a lot left to be desired, your ideals are idiotic.” It said to Yeligar, “You fight to protect your comrade, even willing to die for them... it makes no sense.”
“It doesn’t need to!” Yeligar growled, “I have the power to defend them, so it is my duty to protect them!”
Yeligar stood up and looked at Hydmuertos. “So even if I die, I die knowing they lived and that I gave it my all!”
Hydmuertos swung his blade, but Yeligar blocked it with his lance. The two swung their weapons, where Yeligar revealed that the demon-king's judgment on his skills was too hasty. No matter how fierce the demon-king swung his weapons, and even though the General couldn't hit him, he as well could not land a blow on Yeligar. Then Yeligar jumped backward, towards the chasm, and put both of his hands on the lance.
“It doesn’t matter.” Hydmuertos scoffed, refraining from letting his surprise in the General's increase in skill into his voice. “Like I told you, only a god or an archangel can kill me.”
“No, you said the power of a god or an archangel.” Yeligar said, as his lance glowed. I hate doing this… But it’s the only way. Wake up Tempesta . The five blades started to spin around the lance and made a gray hue. Hydmuertos stood, betrayed by his own curiosity, looking at what the human was to do. Sad part is, he wouldn't live long enough to regret this decision.
“Sovereign...” Yeligar quietly spoke, lifting his head up as his eyes glowed with a power fueled by the great Tempesta. “STORM!”
With a great heave of strength he threw the lance, the legendary weapon rushing forward with a godly glow. The demon-king attempted to block this awe-inspiring move, but the lance when right though Hydmuertos, making a massive hole it’s torso. It’s jaw dropped as it was defeated…
“No… this isn’t possible…” Hydmuertos said in disbelief. The demon-king toppled over to his knees, struggling to continue fighting. Yeligar stood up, breathing heavily.
“Anything is possible Hydmuertos, I just showed you that.”
“Yes...” the demon-king growled, hand grabbing his sword on the ground. “You did.”
It a move that caught the General off guard he threw the sword right at Yeligar. The sword struck right into Yeligar’s sternum, throwing him backwards. Hydmuertos fell down, a triumphant smile on his face even as he gave his last breath... and Yeligar fell backward into the chasm below him.
The General was also giving a small smile.
“Well… I gave it my all…” Yeligar said as he fell down the darkened abyss...
